Connect to a stable network
Ensure the M288 is connected to a reliable Wi-Fi connection to avoid interruptions during the update.
Access the system menu
On your M288 screen, go to:
My → System Upgrade (or System Settings → Upgrade, depending on your software version).
Enter the update code
When prompted for an upgrade code, enter:
DU:MTB/M288V2025431
Important caution
Only use the firmware code for your exact machine model. For example, M188 and M288 use different firmware. Using the wrong code can permanently damage the mainboard.
Complete the update
Confirm the update and wait for it to finish. Do not power off the machine during the process.
Restart and test
After the update is complete, restart your machine and test UV film cutting to check if the white edge issue is resolved.
